Meet Dr. Elida Dakoli

Dr. Elida Dakoli, the founder of DIMA, is an internationally acclaimed classical pianist, educator, and advocate for high-quality music education.

Dr. Dakoli began her musical journey in Durres, Albania, where she performed her first solo recital at the age of 12 and began touring across Albania. She went on to study at the University of Music, Tirana, and won first prize at the Music World International Music Competition in La Spezia, Italy. After completing her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, Dr. Dakoli earned a Master of Music from Baylor University and a Doctor of Musical Arts from Louisiana State University.

Dr. Dakoli has performed in renowned venues worldwide, including Brahms-Saal and Bösendorfer Hall in Vienna. She is also a faculty member at Dallas Baptist University and serves as a Mason & Hamlin Artist and a recording artist for PianoDisc.
